How to Open an Automatic Garage Door in Power Cut!

No Power? How do you get your Garage Door open?

Hand use remote controller for closing and opening garage door

If you experience a disruption to your electricity supply and you need to open your Garage Door, simply pull this red cord (standard for all Garage motors; although yours may be a different colour) to put into manual. Then you can physically lift the door up and down.

To lock your Garage Door, put your door all the way down and pull the cord the other way.

Once your power has been restored you will be able to put your Garage Door back into Automatic operation. Press your remote or wall button and you will see the torpedo travelling towards the carriage. It will reconnect and your door will be back into Automatic Mode.
